About Cirrus Run

A quick, free 3D runner that lives in your browser.

What it is

Cirrus Run is a three-lane endless runner. You race along railway tracks, switching lanes, jumping and sliding past barriers and trains, collecting coins and chasing a higher score. There is nothing to install and no account to create: open the page and press Start. It works on phones and on desktop browsers.

An independent project

Cirrus Run is made by a small independent team, not by a large studio or publisher. It is free to play. To help cover hosting and development, the game shows optional rewarded ads that let you continue a run after a crash. You never have to watch one.

We are actively improving the game. New features are announced on the news page. To learn the controls, see how to play.

How it is built

The game is written in TypeScript with the Three.js 3D library and runs entirely in your browser. The rules of the game, such as the obstacle generator, the collision checks and the difficulty curve, are separate from the drawing code so they can be tested.

Credits

The character and the train models come from packs by Kenney (Mini Characters and Train Kit), released under the CC0 1.0 public domain dedication. Everything else in the scene, including the tracks, buildings, trees and sky, is generated in code. The full list is in the asset credits. Thank you to everyone who shares free assets.
